Priceline Hotel: 3.5* New York City (Midtown East) The Roosevelt Hotel New York

I started my bidding at $155.00 and selected MTE and MTW. After that, I upped it to $160.00 and added Madison Square/Convention Center. My bid was accepted.

Looked at reviews and am little concerned about the The Roosevelt Hotel. Reviews were mixed...but...don't plan to spend much time in my room.

I also checked their website directly and the best web rate is $189.00 per night.

While this hotel does get mixed reviews, it has a very good location and should hopefully work for your needs. Room size and quality does vary here from one room to the next, so if you're really not happy about the first room received, try talking to the front desk about changing to something more inline of what you're looking for. I also try to use a line such as "I know the rooms here can vary greatly from one to the next, so i'd appreciate it if you could do your best to assign me to one of the better ones you currently have available".
