Check-out Sunday, Jan 15. (CES weekend)Desired Rate: $150/nt or lessRating: 5-starLocation: Las Vegas North Strip (specifically targeting 2 hotels, though)Specific Targets: Palazzo (primary), Venetian (secondary)Any help is greatly appreciated!
thereuare Posted November 23, 2011 Report Posted November 23, 2011 Welcome to BetterBidding!Note that when bidding on PRICELINE you have to be willing to accept any hotel in the zone at the star level (or higher) that you choose... there is no way to guarantee an outcome for only one of the two hotels you're targeting. At current rates i think you'll likely need to bid higher than $150 to succeed for a 5* in the Strip North zone (although you could likely succeed for a 5* in the Strip South zone).With the above noted, if you want to give it a try, when bidding 5* in Las Vegas you have ELEVEN re-bid zones. PNinja Posted December 2, 2011 Author Report Posted December 2, 2011 Ok, used the strategies that were recommended, but could not secure the room in the NLV strip zone for my dates going all the way up to $175/nt. Going to re-evaluate my budget and hotel needs and probably try again in the next couple days. Thanks again for the assistance, thus far!
