chibicris Posted November 23, 2011 Report Posted November 23, 2011 Hi. I am new here...so I don't really know all the ropes to this website, but hopefully I will get the hang of it.So I was looking for a hotel in January 2012, probably between 1/8-1/13 or 1/4-1/9, all I know is it will be early January for 5 day. I found on Hotwire a 4 star hotel that it says is normally $195 for $88 (the prices have been changing however). It is recommended by 75% of hotwire reviews. I am really wanting it to be the Pan Pacific, instead of Edgewater. Amenities:Boutique Hotel, Fitness Center, Restaurant(s), Business Center, High-Speed Internet AccessI can't see the little circles that trip advisor offers to show how much people enjoyed it so I really don't know which it could be.I was hoping maybe someone knew which one it might be? Also, I have seen this same exact offer on hotwire but instead of it being normally $195 it was $199, do you think that was another hotel? By the way, I clicked the HOTWIRE link to do my search! Thanks!
thereuare Posted November 23, 2011 Report Posted November 23, 2011 Welcome to BetterBidding! Are your dates not yet firm because you're flexible in which set of dates you can travel OR because you can't yet commit until other factors fall into place (time off from work, vacation time approved, etc)? What are the dates that you used for the offer above? Thanks for using the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board. chibicris Posted November 27, 2011 Author Report Posted November 27, 2011 The dates are flexible because I can go anytime within that time frame. I used the 1-8-11 through 1-13-11 for those results however.
AaronJB Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 Rates can vary substantially from day-to-day; variations in rate are not an indicator of a particular property. This would be a possible match for the Edgewater or Pan Pacific. If you switch days, there could definitely be different prices and inventory. Additionally, inventory for specific dates can change at any time.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
thereuare Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 As both properties look alike before purchase, and with no additional clues, there is no way to determine which of the properties above is more likely than the other, but with only 75% of users recommending this property, i would assume it's the lesser of the two.Not sure your needs for this trip but there is a 4* hotel in the Pike Place zone for just about the same price, with 95% recommendation by previous guests, and that might a bit more of a safer bet. The Pike Place property shows Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Smoke Free, Hi-Speed Internet, Business and the Renaissance, Sheraton or Westin would be my best guess for this one. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help.
