Priceline bid page said that there was only a slight chance of a winning bid at that price, and bid was, in fact, rejected. Then successfully bid $35 for 2.5* and above in Airport area only. Tax and fees are $12.45, so total cost $47.45. I have stayed at this location before prior to flying out of MKE early in the morning, and have found it to be quiet and clean, and certainly worth a few dollars more than the 2* Days Inn that is often available for slightly lower cost.Just joined the BetterBidding site, and will use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links in the future.
