hoteldog Posted November 21, 2011 Report Posted November 21, 2011 Spouse and I are going to take a little getaway in the city for the Thanksgiving weekend (Fri,Sat nights). Even tho we only live about 15 miles away in the east bay, there's just something special about staying ovenight in the heart of the city. I wasn't picky where I stayed downtown, so I got this one with by using multiple rebid zones starting at $85. Timing is everything, as I tried this same sequence on Saturday, up to $100, and didn't get any hits, so I started over today (2 days later). PL is showing $169 for regular rate; The best AAA rate was $152, so this seems to be great deal. The hotel website says the pool is out of commision until 11/23, so hopefully it's back up and warm when we arrive. Thanks for keeping this site going! I always check here first and use the PRICELINE links.
