Just booked a room at the Crowne for $90, $111.65 after taxes and fees (probably saved about $20-25 compared to booking on the hotel site/other travel sites). I am new here and was totally shocked to see people's previous winning bids in the $60ish range. I did use the strategy posted on these forums for rebidding within 24 hours by adding zones that only had lower star ratings. I think I started with $70, upped in 5s to $90. Maybe I was too impatient, lol! I will try to do a better job saving in the future! I am going to be spending a lot of time in hotels over the next two months on job interviews around Canada and the US so there will be many opportunities for greater savings.
