springtime85 Posted November 18, 2011 Report Posted November 18, 2011 Hello Everyone,I am currently trying to plan a surprise birthday in Las Vegas. I am looking to get a suite on either end of the strip for 3 (maybe 4) nights from May 31 to June 3. And the question I have is about suites . . . are all winning bids the lowest value room the hotel has to offer? Or are their bids that result in getting a suite?I ask because I am really hoping to get a suite (bedroom + living area / separate living room)and if this is not possible I would really appreciate some advice on which 5* properties on the strip offer the best chance of getting a suite like experience.Looking to have a casino on property or attached, and a spa also on property or attached.Any advice would really be appreciated!
AaronJB Posted November 18, 2011 Report Posted November 18, 2011 Welcome to Betterbidding. :)HOTWIRE and PRICELINE reservations are for regular/non-upgraded rooms, given the discounted rates. You can look for listings with "suite" as one of the amenities on HOTWIRE, but this would mean that that listing is an "all-suite" property. You would also look for casino and spa listed to guarantee those amenities on HOTWIRE. If you are looking for an upgraded suite with specific layout, then guaranteeing that would have to be via regular rate. Orbitz coupon code ORBITZ5 should also take 5% off regular rate. Please let us know your thoughts and if you would like to proceed with HOTWIRE.Please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE or Orbitz links to start your purchases and searches.
springtime85 Posted November 18, 2011 Author Report Posted November 18, 2011 Thank you for letting me know . . . I have used PRICELINE before with great success but have never used HOTWIRE. I think I will probably take a look into that and see if I like what I see. It's for a big birthday so I am trying to balance budget with making it an unforgettable experience. And thank you for the Orbitz code . . . I may very well end up using that if I can't find what I am looking for on HotWire.
