rwk712 Posted November 16, 2011 Report Posted November 16, 2011 Taking the family to Chicago to get away for Thanksgiving and see some friends. Prices are amazing! Anyways 4* hotel going for $76 and 95% recommended; amenities:-Smoke Free Rooms Guest rooms at this hotel are always smoke-free.-Fitness Center Guests have access to exercise equipment; an additional charge may apply.-Restaurant(s) Property offers at least one restaurant on the premises; hours and days of operation may vary.-Business Center Guests have access to business equipment and services; an additional charge may apply.-High-Speed Internet Access Guestrooms are equipped with high-speed Internet access; an extra charge may apply....looking thru the lists it seems like it could be any of a bunch including Hardrock, Hyatt Regency, Sheraton, Westin River North,or Swissotel. I'm new to this and was unsure if there was any way to narrow it down more. Thanks and sorry if I'm missing something obvious.

AaronJB Posted November 17, 2011 Report Posted November 17, 2011 I'd lean towards the 4.5* possibly being the Intercontinental or Conrad, but there's no way to narrow down the possibilities w/o a tripadvisor rating showing.I'm also seeing what appears to be a possible match for the W Lakeshore for $83 - if that's of interest, let me know and I'd be happy to suggest possibilities.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.

rwk712 Posted November 18, 2011 Author Report Posted November 18, 2011 After scouring the forums, decided to give the Priceline bidding a try and picked the regions: -Millennium Park, Loop & Grant Park Area and -North Michigan Ave - River North AreaPut in bid for $59 and it was accepted for the Hyatt Regency Chicago. Very happy about this as I was about to pay much more for the exact same hotel on the published rate section on priceline.
rwk712 Posted November 18, 2011 Author Report Posted November 18, 2011 Was originally going to use a Hotwire deal for possibly this same hotel, but decided to give priceline bidding a shot. Very pleased with this deal!
