Ok, I'm flying out tomorrow so I just took a chance- it was the Intercontinental. Very happy with this.

I stayed there on a hotwire purchase over the summer (Fourth of July weekend) and it was awesome. I would stay there again every time i went to NYC if the price was right....great location and unbelievably nice and clean.
