MilliePap
After spending hours at your site, reading and learning, I tried PL for hotel bookings and for a newbie, I thought I did very well. Using the method of adding different zones that does not offer a star level of the previous bid worked! So far I have booked 4 nights at 3* hotels, averaging at $50 per night in Springfield MA, Boston and Syracuse NY. That looks after the beginning & the end of this driving trip. I tried to book 3 nights in the Cape Cod area but was rejected. Fodor's has an excellent message board (that's where I found your site), so I may try recommended hotels by their posts if PL once again rejects me in 72 hours. If anyone has any ideas, I'd like to know please. Thanks for such an informative site. It's saved me almost $500!!! :) Link to comment

gleff
Interesting that your average bid was $50.As I understand it, the average Priceline bid across all regions and quality levels is $50. Link to comment
