I need a help to bid for Toronto downtown North Check in 16 NOV 2011 & chek out 04 JAN 2012.

My budget USD 5-60.

Please adviace priceline or hotwire ? Whar is the best chance i can get.

On HOTWIRE the maximum length of your stay is 30 days... on PRICELINE it's 21 days.

Are you willing to change hotels (perhaps a few times) during your stay?

Did you want to bid up to your $60 limit for a 4*, then if rejected bid up to your limit for a 3.5*, and so-on... or is your goal the least expensive 3* or better for this stay?

You may ultimately need to change more than 3x to get a good deal.

Priceline is usually a little cheaper, but HOTWIRE gives you the ability to know the amenities offered before your purchase. This could be of value and worth paying a little more upfront, since paying more for a hotel with free internet, breakfast included, a kitchenette, etc. may ultimately cost you less than a hotel which charges extra for these services.

What do you expaect to get with USD60 star level?

Never easy to stay on such a long stay since just once nite of higher prices, or no inventory, can derail any price assumptions you may have had. However, even for a 2-3 day stay, $60 would be at the very low end of the expected range... i'm guessing it may actually take a bit more than $60 for a 3* hotel and for such an extended stay.

How to identify ?

I have cheked the price & it was $82 for three star in East hotels, i think it is high price please advice.

There is no way to choose bed type via either service (although HOTWIRE occasionally offers listings with a "bed type" option, but these are seen fairly infrequently. HOTWIRE shows a list of amenities that the property offers - these amenities are guaranteed to be offered at that particular hotel.
