Wow -- took me eleven bids >> but I finally got a 4**** hotel in the Museum Quarter of Amsterdam for Feb 1-3, 2012.

I used lots of 're-bids' by adding the "NORTH" area, which does not have any 4**** hotels.

I began at $80 and worked my way up to $117. And I am proud to say that I supported this website by using the PRICELINE link from Betterbidding.com!

NH Caransa is situated on Rembrandt Square, nearby Dam Square and The Flower Market. The tram stop opposite Caransa offers easy access to sights and the RAI conference centre.The NH Caransa has a shuttle service between the hotel and Schiphol Airport at an additional charge. Amsterdam Central Train Station is 10 minutes away by tram.The hotel rooms have coffee and tea facilities and a seating area. Each morning breakfast is served in the breakfast room. Lunch and dinner are available in Brasserie Schiller on the other side of the square.There is a terrace, Wi-Fi and a 24-hour reception desk with tourist guides and maps. There are plenty of bars, restaurants and shops in the surrounding area.
