Priceline Hotel: 3* New York City Airports (JFK) Courtyard By Marriott New York Jfk Airport

Hi - after failing at $65 on 8NOV2011, I bid $75 and I won straight away. Total is $99.44 after taxes and fees (!!!). Still OK.

We fly into JFK regularly as we often visit our families in Canada and the US on the same trip so we use it as a hub. When we fly in late or fly out early I always bid on PRICELINE for 2 stars or above in JFK area and always end up at this place. Which is great as we quite like it.

I know Hampton Inn is better rated but I've never had any problems with Courtyard, the standard of the rooms is very adequate, and the beds are really good. We often end up in a two-bed room though.

The area around JFK is pretty bad though... no beer stores in the area that I'd feel safe going to, so now I tend to pack a couple before setting off in London so I can have a cheap night cap! Yes I'm that cheap.
