thereuare Posted November 8, 2011 Report Posted November 8, 2011 Rates are somewhat high for these dates... so we don't suggest a strategy that goes higher than you're willing to pay, what is your maximum bid (per nite before taxes and fees) for this trip? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. I may have to stay Nov 9 through Nov 15 (one more night), so I can try to bid also for a 5* hotel on North Strip.
AaronJB Posted November 9, 2011 Report Posted November 9, 2011 Just to confirm - are you looking at Strip North, Strip South or both?$100 for a 5* for these dates is unfortunately not going to be unrealistic, given the rates that I'm seeing. I think you're probably looking at as much as $140-170 (possibly a touch higher) for a 5* in the North Strip.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
lebed Posted November 9, 2011 Author Report Posted November 9, 2011 Thanks for your reply! Yes, I am looking now at both - Strip North and Strip South.
thereuare Posted November 9, 2011 Report Posted November 9, 2011 If you're still going for a 5* property i still don't think you're $100 will be enough, but if you want to give it a try:At the 5* level you have ONE re-bid zone available. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.Select 5* Strip North and Strip South...Bid $75, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $78, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $80, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $83, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $85, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $88, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $90, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $93, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $95, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $98, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $100Any questions feel free to ask. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Good luck and let us know how it goes.
