For the dates Nov 20-25 (5 nights) 2 rooms:

Hotwire at $65 shows Downtown "Elite" 4* 95% recommended - Fitness - Business - Pool - Restaurant - Hi Speed Internet

Expedia Unpublished shows $59 Downtown 4* with the same amenities

Any best guesses on identity and are they likely the same? Thanks for any help

(tried Priceline 4* bidding with rebid zones up to $55 thus far in FQ and Downtown, prefer FQ first then Downtown)

These amenities are common for a 4* hotel in any city, but the InterContinental and the Sheraton have each been seen with this amenity set and at the 4* level, so either of these would be my best guess for this one.

There is no way to know if this is the same hotel offered thru Expedia, but the above would be my best guess for that one as well.

Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.... or our Expedia link if you go that route.

Let us know what you decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help.

PS- follow-up your previous Baltimore Downtown thread with whatever you ended up doing for that stay. Thanks.

Thanks, I wrote a follow up on Baltimore. That's mostly what I was thinking, hoping to avoid the Hilton Riverside or Pavilion if I go for that area. I like the Riverside a good bit but the 2nd party on this trip prefers walking less. Does Hilton St. Charles usually include "boutique"?

Looks to be a slow week, with back-up options available, so though this seems a good deal I plan to try PRICELINE, using the link of course, to bid on 4*'s in the Quarter a few days first. Thanks again and I will follow up when I get a Hotel

The Hilton St. Charles has been seen with both and without a Boutique... i don't think it's won so frequently that i recall which amenity set it is most often seen with (although you can always use the search form to search just the Hotwire forum and this hotel, and then scan the wins to see which appears most often)

Using the PRICELINE link from here I had a bid accepted for two rooms for 5 nights each Nov 20-25, 2011 at $60 the Marriot New Orleans in the French Quarter.

Using rebid-zones(Garden, East and West),I worked up from $52-55-58-60. On the first $52 bid I was offered a room for $68 as I had been for a couple of days prior when I had bid up to $58.

Thanks for your help as always.
