Hotwire Hotel: 3* Kansas City (Downtown - Crown Center) Radisson

Booked the 3* Radisson Downtown Kansas City-Crown Center (formerly Doubletree) about 45 minutes before check-in. $52, 27th floor, nice rooms. We didn't really use any of the other features like bar, restaurant, etc... just the beds.

I've read some other reviews that said the hotel had problems with staff, but I had no trouble with them. Very friendly.

Also, I think this hotel may have previously been listed as a 3.5*.

If you are going to the KC Royals baseball game, the "Royals Express" shuttle with pick up and drop off 1 block away, in front of the Marriott. $5 for the round trip. Plus, when you board the bus, you get a coupon for $5 off your game ticket. The bus fare comes out as free. Taxi would have been about $20-25 each way.
