Priceline Hotel: 5* Las Vegas (Strip North) Wynn Las Vegas

I am having great difficulty using priceline. I am trying to get 5 rooms in the North Zone for December 1st-4th. I have been bidding on 5* rooms the last 6 days with no luck. I have tried $90-140 bids per room and no luck. Am i doing something wrong? Can you win 5 rooms on priceline? Any help would be GREAT. I have been trying every 24 hours but NO LUCK. I am seeing others win room for under a 100...what am i doing wrong. Thanks for replying.

Please start by reading your messages.

Usually multiple rooms is a non-event, but for your particular stay i think the number of rooms may be an issue.

Is it a must that all rooms be at the same hotel, or is the group willing to split up with 2 rooms at one hotel and 3 rooms at another?

Is SPLITTING YOUR PRICELINE BID an option, which all rooms being at the same hotel, but you may have to change properties once over the course of the 3 nites.

I am not understanding you...are you saying it's not possible to get 5 rooms under one bid? I would like all rooms at the same hotel...

Tried the following this morning:

I eliminated Thursday..so tried 12/2-12/4 North and SOUTH zone for a 5* went all the way up to $110 nothing.

I then tried 3 rooms north zone $105 for a 5* for 12/1-12/4...nothing i was willing to split it 3 rooms and 2 rooms. I do need 5 rooms.

PLEASE HELP!

I'm not suprised those bids were not enough. It actually looked like you could get 5 rooms at a 5* hotel for the weekend nites for ~$150/nite (give or take)... for the Thursday nite you would need to bid even higher and/or lower your star rating.

Let us know your thoughts, maximum budget, etc. and how you'd like to proceed.

max budget is $2200 for 5 rooms thurs-sun. Want to be on the strip i am willing to go to 4* any suggestions?

I'm assuming the Westin, which is in PRICELINE's Strip South zone, but located slightly off-strip, is not acceptable? If this is correct, i would try the following:

When bidding 4* in Las Vegas you have FOUR re-bid zones (NOTE: Summerlin is not a re-bid zone)

Select 4* Strip North...

Bid $100, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $105, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $110, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $115, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $120

Henderson was the only rebid zone i saw in the forum for a 4*..what are the other 3? i tried $105 then $110 but no luck...i need to know the other 3 rebid zones so i can try $120...thanks for the help i have been using the PRICELINE link.

Thanks for all the help, i just got an offer from priceline offering me 5 rooms at the Wynn for 3 nights for 110 a night. I accepted the offer. I don't get it because i bid $140 for that same room two days ago. I did click the PRICELINE link several times ;-)
