holtju2
Just bid for a same day stay and got accepted (surprisingly enough) at the same price than before. I was actually staying at the Hawthorne Suites using my Goldpassport Points (3K points for one night) just couple of blocks from RI. RI is much nicer and the rooms are a lot more spacious than those of Hawthorne Suites. RI does not seems to be widely available at this bid price i.e. yesterday my bid for today was not accepted. It seems that they off load the unsold inventory to Priceline at very last moment that IMHO makes a lot more sense than selling the inventory through Priceline at distressed rate months in advance. thereuare
Thank you for sharing your win with the board. If a hotel is very vacant months in advance, i think it does make sense to start selling at distressed levels.Enjoy your stay. holtju2
I decided to extend my stay and bid separately for Friday/Saturday and Saturday/Sunday. Both bids accepted at the same price as above. Link to comment
holtju2
I got the Sunday night added at the above mentioned price too but then my luck with this property ended. Link to comment
