Am trying to book a hotel for the 12/23 to 12/27 and saw this and wondered which hotel it could be,

4-star Hotel in Universal Orlando - I-drive North $131

This Hotel features the following amenities:

The 4* hotel mathes previous reports for the Crowne Plaza Universal so that would be my best guess for this one.

The Condo property matches the Mona Lisa Suites, but since last reported to the board this property has changed hands and is now the Melia Orlando, so this would be my best guess here.

4* Hilton Orlando Convention Center

3.5* Wyndham Orlando

3* Westgate Lakes has previously been seen with this amenity set but at the 3.5* level... i'm speculate that it's been downgraded to 3 stars

I gave the above a quick look, but if you're interested in any of these and are ready to make a purchase, i'll take a second look for any details which would confirm my guesses and increase my confidence.

Hi, Thanks for that. I was checking and the 3 star if it is Westgate is definitely very worthwhile. The others are cheaper marginally vs the risk.It states 7 -11.5 miles from city center. However, I was wondering why the recommendations were so low at 55%. Any ideas? It states self laundry, too.

Perhaps low reviews was one of the reasons for the downgrade (assuming my guess above is correct)

The lower user satisfaction level is somewhat alarming and reason for caution in case this turns out to be a different property then guessed. If this is a property you're interested in, since this is a multi-nite stay, you could see if this same property is offered for the first (or last) nite of your stay and then again for the balance. If so, you could purchase the solo nite in order to "look behind the curtain". If you're happy with the results purchase the remaining nites, if not, make alternate plans for the balance of your stay.

That's a very good strategy. Yes, the low satisfaction had me worried as Westgate Lakes seem a very nice hotel and much higher reviews. I was quite keen but will take yr advice. I hv been looking at Priceline yesterday and looks like the 4 star hotels offered are very good, so may have a go at that instead. Can one say that the closer the dates, the better the value?

I have 2 periods that I need the hotels and was looking at 4.5 stars Maingate Celebration - is that likely to be Gaylord or Omni? It states tennis nearby. I am hoping for Gaylord but in the list of hotels, tennis was not mentioned. Thanks

Hi, I have posted my win on priceline for the different dates as I tend to look at the dates when I research. However, I do want to know which hotel 4 star , International drive would have pets allowed?? Thanks.

Please post only one stay per thread... if your dates are flexible and may be 12/23-12/27 or 12/24-12/27, then this considered the same stay and all posts would go in the same thread. For another stay, where you intend to return to the same area a few days, weeks, or months later... please start a NEW TOPIC.

For help with HOTWIRE hotels (ie- your Gaylord Palms question) include the dates of travel and the full list of amenities associated with the property... not just the inclusion/exclusion of a Tennis icon.

As far as pet friendly hotels, there is no easy way to obtain this information, you'll need to visit each hotel's own website individually. Do you need a pet friendly hotel, or are you trying to identify this property based upon PRICELINE indicating the property is pet friendly?

I am trying to identify the hotel. It is 4 stars, ID north, Universal studio and accepts pets. I put in an offer and then before confirmation at priceline.com, they state that it is pet friendly. The only hotel seems to be Loews Pacific and Hard Rock Hotel but both seem quite booked out. I do have a booking with them too.

The "guaranteed amenities" are new to PRICELINE, so we're still learning/observing, but my early take is that they show icons when that amenity is offered for all hotels in a given zone... it's not specific to one particular hotel in a zone that you're bidding on. So when shown, the potential outcomes has not shrunk, you're simply being given information which are applicable to all hotels in the zone.

I was hoping that with your experience. it would be Loews, hee, hee, just so I can try and get it cheaper. However, there seems to be only 3, 4 star hotels in idrive north, Universal studios, which is Crowne, Loews Pacific and Hard Rock, am I correct? or is there more than these? thanks for yr help.

I'm not sure if you're referring to 4* hotel thru PRICELINE or HOTWIRE, but you can see all hotels reported to the board thru each service in the corresponding Priceline Hotel List and Hotwire Hotel List (although read the comments at the top of each regarding the lists only contain hotels reported to the board and there could always be others and/or hotels in the list upgraded/downgraded since last reported to the board.

What is it exactly that you're looking for from this stay?
