JonathanK
Hey all. I am back again! My normal trip to Southern California and I need a 1 day stay in Santa Monica for this Friday November 4th. I will use the links so do not worry! Also, I'm guessing I can be okay with Culver City, but I really prefer SM.I'm really looking for $100-$110 for a 3* or higher hotel. Any suggestions? I did try yesterday on Priceline bidding up to $75. I didn't want to bid too much, but not sure what I'm really looking at. I kind of want some guidance. Thanks everyone. Link to comment
thereuare
I will use the links...Please use for your searches too!I think Santa Monica may be a tough win within your budget, but to give it a try you have THREE re-bid zones. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.(NOTE: 're-bid zone1' is not the same as priceline's Zone1, 're-bid zone2' is not the same as priceline's Zone2, etc, etc)Select 3* Santa Monica...Bid $80, if rejected add re-bid zone1...Bid $85, if rejected close browser and use this link to re-access PRICELINESelect 3* Santa Monica and re-bid zone2...Bid $90, if rejected add re-bid zone1...Bid $95, if rejected close browser and use this link to re-access PRICELINESelect 3* Santa Monica and re-bid zone3...Bid $100, if rejected add re-bid zone1...Bid $105, if rejected close browser and use this link to re-access PRICELINESelect 3* Santa Monica and re-bid zone2 and re-bid zone3...Bid $110, if rejected add re-bid zone1...Bid $115 (if you want to bid the extra $5)Any questions feel free to ask. Thanks for using the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board.Good luck and let us know how it goes. JonathanK
I ended-up booking direct, since two of my friends were already staying at a specific hotel. Had to pay much more than intended, but couldn't really stay somewhere different than them. Link to comment
