marymiss65
We will be staying in ft myers in march and want to drive down to key west. What do you think is the possibility of getting 3 rooms ( 2 adults in each) for 1 weekday night during early March 2012. We are flexible for the date but would like a place near duval street and need parking. We would be willing to pay in the $200 range for the hotel. and would possible like a 4 star or resort. Do you think it is too early? Thanks for any help. Link to comment
AaronJB
Welcome to Betterbidding. :)Please let us know confirmed date/s of travel as rates can vary substantially from day-to-day. Additionally, in terms of bidding on PRICELINE, one has to be willing to be anywhere within the bidding zone; there is no way to guarantee being near a specific street/spot. It's not too early to bid for March, especially if there's also Spring Break traffic.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches. Link to comment
Romelle
I struggled with Key West last year. When it is busy, it is REALLY busy. And parking is very difficult then.I think next time I would look at that ferry from Fort Myers, rather than driving down. Romelle Link to comment
marymiss65
don't ever take the ferry. We did it 3 years ago-- never on time and everyone sea sick. We ended up driving back and actually beat the ferry (we had friends who took it back).. Never would do it again. Link to comment
marymiss65
we will be there march 7 leaving march 8. we would be biddingg on a resort or 4 star. What do you think about the $250 range without taxes. Link to comment
hohogap
i"m interested, too. We've been setting our sights on Cali, but flights have been getting crazy and we have a 2 for 1 on Delta that could save us $$ if we hit EYW from FNT. Link to comment
thereuare
What do you think about the $250 range without taxes. It's certainly worth trying, but even though $250 is a lot of money for a hotel room, this is notoriously a difficult PRICELINE zone, and the higher rated hotels frequently do not give PRICELINE inventory (or what they do give them is not discounted too deeply)Are you ready to commit now to a non-refundable purchase for this stay? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
