Southpaw69 Posted October 23, 2011 Report Posted October 23, 2011 HiI have used Priceline a few years ago and successfully got a good deal on hotel in New York with help from this website. So am looking for your help again please.I'm visiting Canada in November 2011.I'll be looking for 3 nights in Montreal, 2 nights in Niagara Falls and 4/5 nights in Toronto. I'd like to try for 4 star hotels (or above!). Not sure of which locations for any of them but recommendations grateful.I wasn't sure whether to post 3 different threads or put all in one so have posted one for all so apologises if that isn't the best way.Hope you can help again with a strategy. Thanks in advance.
AaronJB Posted October 23, 2011 Report Posted October 23, 2011 Good morning. :)Please post the stays as separate threads. We'll use this one for the Toronto stay. Please provide the date/s of travel for the Toronto stay, and additional information about the trip (desired budget per night, star rating and zones of interest.)Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
Southpaw69 Posted October 23, 2011 Author Report Posted October 23, 2011 HiToronto would be 12th Nov until 16th November (Maybe 17th)Price I'm not sure but if I can do under $200CAD per night for 4* or above I would be happy with that.Zones I'm not sure (obviously not airport) would like to be somewhere good to explore from.
thereuare Posted October 23, 2011 Report Posted October 23, 2011 Toronto would be 12th Nov until 16th November (Maybe 17th)When will your dates be finalized?Price I'm not sure but if I can do under $200CAD per night for 4* or above I would be happy with that. Please quote your budget (and winning prices) in US Dollars.Zones I'm not sure (obviously not airport) would like to be somewhere good to explore from.Basically you want to stay Downtown... both Downtown North and Downtown South are bid frequently, and both would probably work for your needs, but you should get a feel for what you wan tto do in the area first and then confirm that each zone would work equally well. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... and please click this PRICELINE link before replying.Thanks. Southpaw69 Posted October 23, 2011 Author Report Posted October 23, 2011 HiThanks for reply. Budget will be $200 USD or less (As exchange rates for USD and CAD are similar from GBP)Dates will be confirmed by end of this week and will likely be 12th Nov until 16th. I am looking to sort it all out sometime this week. Thanks
thereuare Posted October 23, 2011 Report Posted October 23, 2011 Please let us know once your dates are firm and we'll take a look at current rates at that time, as rates can change over the course of the week and it's also possible that the include/exclusion of the additional day could change required bid amounts. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Thanks. Arrive in Toronto Saturday 12th Nov 2011 leaving Toronto on Thursday 17th November 2011. So 5 nights in Toronto. Budget inc all fees $200 USD. Romelle Posted October 29, 2011 Report Posted October 29, 2011 The count of 10 rebid zones for a 4* Toronto is correct. If you are unsure of just which zones are the rebid ones, you can post your list back here and somebody will double check. Romelle
