Priceline Hotel: 4 * Mid East / Mid West

Been trying for a 4 * hotel between the dates of 12/06/11 to 12/09/11 and have gone up to $300 dollars a night but no success. Have i really got a chance at all during this busy time of year?

There is always a chance of success, especially when you're willing to bid as high as $300/nite, but it does become significantly more difficult during peak times... if hotels are busy enough to sell hotels on their own at full price, there is little reason to offer a deep discount thru a third party. As a result availability thru PRICELINE may be tough, and what is offered, may not be as deeply discounted as you've become accustomed to.

Is MTE/MTW the only zones you're bidding? As you've already tried up to $300/nite, i would definitely be expanding your zone boundaries including other nearby areas, giving more hotels the chance to accept your bid price. As these dates are so busy it may not help much, but as long as you're willing to stay in these other areas, it certain couldn't hurt.
