myth Posted October 25, 2011 Report Posted October 25, 2011 3* Waikiki City Central in Ohana East Hotel for $85/ night. Not a great steal, I checked their website and it asks for about min $110/night. I put in 80$ for 3* got rejected, tried again with 85$ and was accepted. I also need to find out how everyone is getting the cash rewards- did you all apply for the visa? Because I still need to book a hotel in Honolulu from Nov 10-12 2 rooms for under $100 if possible. ( I tried bidding up to $85 for 3* but no luck.) Hints? Is it worth applying for the visa if I will probably only use Priceline once again for the first part of my stay? Nov10-12?I have to book a 2 rooms from Nov10-12, then just 1 room from Nov 12-15.

myth Posted October 31, 2011 Author Report Posted October 31, 2011 I booked a 3* for $80 on HOTWIRE Nov 12-15 at Stay Hotel Waikiki. Just a reminder for people to check Hotwire too. At first it seemed like Priceline offered better deals but halfway through last week, all the hotels in Honolulu started filling up and there was no space. I took a look at hotwire and booked Stay Hotel Waikiki, though personally it looks a bit more like a 2.5* but it'll be enough for our needs. I found out 2 days ago Obama was visiting Nov 8-13 which may have accounted for the sudden filling up of hotels. ( I noticed people who bid 2 weeks before me got even better deals). Thanks guys for hosting this forum. =)
