kathya1616 Posted October 24, 2011 Report Posted October 24, 2011 I want a 3.5* hotel in the Orlando Disney area for $50-60.00. This is xmas week, so where should I start my bid for these 8 nights family of 4? Help
AaronJB Posted October 25, 2011 Report Posted October 25, 2011 Welcome to Betterbidding. :)Is Disney Maingate-Celebration the only zone of interest? Additionally, while this isn't as much of a risk as it is in other cities, PRICELINE only guarantees double occupancy/1 bed; in order to try to ensure some form of bedding for a party of four, HOTWIRE - where you can indicate 2a/2c - is a better choice.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.

AaronJB Posted October 26, 2011 Report Posted October 26, 2011 Is this also for your 12/17-27 stay, as discussed in this Priceline Orlando thread? Thanks.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
Romelle Posted October 26, 2011 Report Posted October 26, 2011 kathya1616Have you found the list of hotels yet? Very first post in this Priceline - Florida area. You can scroll down it to Orlando and see just which star level the Gaylord Palms is, and in which zone. Alternatively, you can enter "gaylord palms" in the second search box (the one below the orange one - top right on this page) and select Forums. You will see all the other reportings on that hotel. Need Help on a strategy to get Gaylord Palms hotel in Orlando. How much should I bid and what location? Should I do resort or 4*? HelpHowever, when you bid that star level and zone, you have to be prepared to accept any hotel in that area at that star level or higher (Priceline can choose to upgrade you). There is no way to bid just for a specific hotel.Romelle
