luca1 Posted October 29, 2011 Author Report Posted October 29, 2011 As an update to my booking, I received an email from Hotwire stating that The Modern's star level had been reviewed and that they downgraded it to 4 stars. I was offered the opportunity to cancel my booking with no penalty or take $25/per night in Hotdollars for a future booking ($75 hotdollars total) on anything booked on hotwire, including flights and rental cars. :)
