Priceline Hotel: Newbie to Bidding

Hello!

I am new to bidding and I wanted to know how I can get a 3.5 or 4 star hotel in the MTC, TS, CPS (or a any area near there) for around $180.

It's worth a try, but at the moment i think $180 may fall short for a 3.5* or 4* hotel, but to give it a try, did you want to first try for a 4* hotel up to your budget OR is your goal the least expensive 3.5* or better for this stay?

Also, there is no MTC zone on PRICELINE, did you mean MTW? At the 4* level most users often include MTE and ESB in their bidding, do these not work for your needs this trip?

Also, if/when bidding 3.5* note that the CPS contains the Hudson Hotel which has notoriously small rooms, would this be acceptable? As well, at the 3.5* and under there are some hotels in the MTE zone (if you choose to include this zone) that can be up to a 15 minute walk to the subway would this be acceptable? (at the 4* level in the MTE zone all the 'known' hotels are centrally located)

Please confirm the zones you're willing to accept and which star rating you'd like to try for first and we'll suggest a strategy for you to follow.

Thank you for the reply. I have changed my price to $200 for a 4* or even a 3.5 (but not Hudson) from 11/11 - 11/13. Here are my regions: MTW, MTE, CPS and TS.

Not exactly sure how to do the bidding, but any advice will help!

To confirm... did you want to bid up to $200 first for a 4* hotel, then if rejected start over, not including CPS, and try for a 3.5* up to $200... OR is your goal the least expensive 3.5* or better for this stay?
