bond316 Posted October 14, 2011 Report Posted October 14, 2011 Hi need some help with a bidding strategy for 1 room at a 4* hotel in the Downtown-Soho-Financial District location for 10/14 - 10/15. I am also willing to stay at CPS, Chelsea, ESB, HK, ME, MW, TS. My budget is $175 after taxes and fees. So the most I would go up to is $145 - 150.Is this even realistic for this time? I haven't looked at HOTWIRE for similar deals.

I quickly checked on HOTWIRE before bidding and I saw a great deal on a 3.5* property in the Chelsea area so I used the bidding strategy below (for the most part) and just won the 3.5* Hotel Indigo Chelsea New York for $110. The total came out to $140.23. The 3.5* level seemed like a better deal than the 4* level. Thanks again!
