got it at $72

first i tried 4*

then 3.5*

then 3*

i saw other posts getting a 3* around $65 so my win was not that far off.

thanks to betterbidding for the wealth of information!

the only thing i don't like about priceline is that the total is not only $72, there is a tax and fee of $20.39 which brings my total to $92.39.

i knew what the total was going to be before clicking on the "purchase my hotel button", but i just wish there was no fee involved...hehe
