NewTraveller829 Posted October 12, 2011 Report Posted October 12, 2011 Hello! I am new to the board and looking for bidding assistance. I am looking for a hotel in NYC for 11/03/11 to 11/06/11. I would like a 3.5* or 4* hotel for under $200/night, in the following Priceline areas: Upper East Side, Upper West Side, Midtown East, Midtown West, Downtown-Soho-Financial District, Chelsea or Empire State Building area. I have a reservation that I am able to cancel at the New York Mariott Downtown for $358/night.Thanks

thereuare Posted October 14, 2011 Report Posted October 14, 2011 Are you willing to pay more for a 4* vs. a 3.5* OR is your goal the least expensive 3.5* or better for this stay?At the 4* level all the 'known' hotels in the MTE zone are well located, but at the 3.5* some of the 'known' hotels can be up to a 15 minute walk to the subway... is this acceptable? As well, note that the UES and UWS zones go pretty far north, ensure that you're comfortable with the boundaries of each of these zones.Let us know the above and we'll advise accordingly. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
