mrjohnson007 Posted October 7, 2011 Report Posted October 7, 2011 After several weeks of bidding using the link on this forum I've finally won the Chicago Marriott Downtown Mag Mile for $195 for the 10/14/11 - 10/17/11 weekend. Started bidding up to $100 in August for NMA area. Took a couple weeks off came back and after viewing much discussion on this forum about the apparently unexplainable high prices for this weekend started bidding up to $150 thru Sept. The wife gave the go ahead to bid up to $200. Started at $180 and was offered a re-bid of $211. Declined the re-bid and went up in $5 increments until I hit at $195. I can't get over how expensive this weekend is...Last year for the weekend of 10/24/10 I won the Sax Hotel for $125 using this PRICELINE link.
