biggyv Posted October 5, 2011 Report Posted October 5, 2011 So, I'm actually moving to Baltimore to start a new job, and wanted a base of operations to begin my housing search there. I went to PRICELINE (via the Better Bidding link) and noticed that I had up to $25 in rewards on my account ($5 per night). I had planned on bidding for the Mt. Vernon Hotel, as it seemed there were good deals there. Unbeknownst to me, I clicked in the Downtown/Inner Harbor area rather than Mt. Vernon. As it turns out, it worked out great. I got four nights at the Fairfield Inn and Suites just a block or so from the water in the Inner Harbor. With the Priceline reward, it cost me just $40/night before tax, $196 altogether including $9/night in taxes. Thanks to all the posters who provide such great info. I will be sure to post about my experience at the Fairfield.

biggyv Posted October 28, 2011 Author Report Posted October 28, 2011 Just as a followup . . . stayed the four nights at the Fairfield Inn. Very clean and comfortable, friendly staff, good location for me to explore the city, solid breakfast. I highly recommend this hotel.
