ju6ganutz Posted October 4, 2011 Report Posted October 4, 2011 Trying to get the Inter continental ORD south this weekend for 1 night but its not popping up on hotwire, is that hotel available on priceline also?
Romelle Posted October 4, 2011 Report Posted October 4, 2011 There is no way of knowing for sure if a hotel is available right now on Priceline. If you look at the list of hotels reported as wins, and a hotel is there, that is a positive sign (I did just look at the list, and although it is spelled wrong, it is there). If the hotel is in the retail side of Priceline, that also is a positive sign. But no guarantees. And no way to target a specific hotel among the other ones in the group currently available.Romelle
ju6ganutz Posted October 4, 2011 Author Report Posted October 4, 2011 Ok I only see a 4 star hotel available in the south ORD while the inter continential is a 4.5 star on Hotwire.
Romelle Posted October 4, 2011 Report Posted October 4, 2011 And the IC is a 4* on the retail side of Priceline. That 1/2 star difference is fairly typical between Hotwire and Priceline.Romelle
AaronJB Posted October 4, 2011 Report Posted October 4, 2011 Welcome to Betterbidding. :)The Intercontinental may appear at some time between now and your trip on HOTWIRE, but there is definitely no way to know, and if it's busy there for a reason (convention, etc) it may not appear for these dates. As mentioned, there's no way to ensure a particular property via PRICELINE. Do you need to stay within this area?Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
