Rani Posted October 4, 2011 Report Posted October 4, 2011 Hi, I'm looking to stay at a 5* such as the Venetian, Wynn, or Palazzo, or Aria. I want to stay away from the Trump. My budget is $150 per night. Any suggestions?
b2k1121 Posted October 4, 2011 Report Posted October 4, 2011 I've gone up to $190 for 11/4 with no luck. That day is the end of a big car show and prices are going up so it seems unlikely to get a 5* or even 4* for under $150 for that friday night. Saturday and Sunday is possible though.
Rani Posted October 4, 2011 Author Report Posted October 4, 2011 Please let us know if you have any luck
thereuare Posted October 5, 2011 Report Posted October 5, 2011 Rani,Welcome to BetterBidding! At current rates I'm doubtful that $150 will be enough for a 5* hote on these dates, but if you want to give it a try:At the 5* level you have ELEVEN re-bid zones. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.Select 5* Strip North and Strip South...Bid $95, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $100, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $105, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $110, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $115, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $120, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $125, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $130, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $135, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $140, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $145, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $150Any questions feel free to ask. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Good luck and let us know how it goes. I've gone up as far as $185 at one point with no luck...not even a counter offer.Today I started my bidding again. i began at $130, then $135. I won the Palazzo at $140. So super excited!
