julia1312 Posted October 4, 2011 Report Posted October 4, 2011 Thanks for providing this wonderful service..I am looking to spend 7 nights in NYC from the 20th of Oct,I am a single traveller on a limited budget - so limited i am even considering staying in hostels.I did decide however it was probably worth giving this a go as i am not averse to a 1 star hotel if that is better and as cheap as a hostel.I want to stay in Manhatten, no real preferences except i have some friends staying up near Sutton place and would like to be nearish to them if at all possible.Budget is about 140 a night tops - but if i can get a 2/ 2.5 star for cheaper i would be very happy. Thanks in advance for your help :)
thereuare Posted October 4, 2011 Report Posted October 4, 2011 Welcome to BetterBidding!I did decide however it was probably worth giving this a go as i am not averse to a 1 star hotel if that is better and as cheap as a hostel. This would depend upon the hostel you're considering and the 1* hotel you receive... the latter of which would be unknown untl after your purchase. I'm not that familiar with the hostel market in NYC, but i wouldn't recommend a 1* hotel in NYC. However, it's your stay and you know your needs better than we do.Based upon current rates I do think landing a hotel for these dates in NYC within your budget is going to be a tough win, but if you'd like to move forward bidding for this stay, let us know, by PRICELINE name, the zone(s) you're willing to accept and the star rating you'd like to try for first, we'll suggest a strategy for you to follow. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
