Im arriving in NY October 23rd and i'm leaving on October 30th. Id like to stay in central park south, midtown west or time square. Im interested in 4* + Hotels and i'm not willing to pay more then 200 a night. Possible?Im traveling with a friend and id like separate beds, is that an option?Can you help me set up a bidding plan?Thank you!

In addition to the zones above, these typically work well for the average user, and including more acceptable zones gives more hotels the opportunity to accept your bid price. Given current prices, your budget is likely going to be a bit tough for these dates, but MTE/ESB often offer some of the better deals in the city.Regarding two beds, all that PRICELINE guarantees is double occupancy, so it's very possible that you receive a room with only one bed (especially in NYC where rooms are notoriously small and there are a high percentage of rooms with only one bed). You can call the hotel before your arrival and request a room with two beds, but there is no way to know if the hotel will be able, or willing, to honor your request. As well, note that in NYC many hotels now consider rooms with two beds to be an upgrade, and if they are willing to try to accommodate your request, there could be an additional charge.If two beds is a must have vs. a want you could try searching HOTWIRE for 2adults/2children which would ensure more than one bed in the room, although the second 'bed' could be a rollaway brought into the room, pullout sofabed, etc.Based upon the above let us know your current thoughts and we'll take it from there.Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. So, to sum things up: Oct 23rd to 30thMinimum 4*Area: CPS / MW / TS / MTE2 people, 1 room. Max 230/night. If you could help me with a bidding strategy based on the above that would be cool.
