booshki Posted October 3, 2011 Report Posted October 3, 2011 I'm new to this and would really appreciate any help regarding a hotwire bid for a Las Vegas (North Strip) 5* .I would like to bid on Venetian or Palazzo, but might settle for the Wynn. The dates are 11/03-11/07 for $187.00 per room per night. ResortSuite Casino Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center High-Speed Internet Access Golf Nearby Tennis Nearby Recommended 95% of customer reviews. Would extremely appreciate any responses regarding the possible matches based on the Amenities and Customer Reviews.
Danventure Posted October 3, 2011 Report Posted October 3, 2011 Hello! I stayed in the Palazzo in September and here are the features:ResortSuite Casino Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center High-Speed Internet Access Golf Nearby Tennis Nearby Spa Services95% recommendedNotice that the only difference between this and your list is that the Palazzo contains the Spa Services. Did you leave that off by accident? If there's no Spa Services, then I don't think it's the Palazzo. However, I was also under the impression from other posts that the Venetian has a 90% approval, not 95%. So I guess it could be the Wynn, although I'd be surprised if they don't have Spa Services there. Please double-check that it indeed doesn't have the Spa. Good luck! Let me know if you book it and what the hotel is!
thereuare Posted October 3, 2011 Report Posted October 3, 2011 We welcome both of your to BetterBidding! :)booshki,I'm currently seeing a different property appear in the 5* North Strip zone when searching HOTWIRE for your dates. Are you still seeing the property above on a current search or something new/different? If the same, are you searching for more than one room or for more than the default 2adults/0children?If you go back to HOTWIRE and click the CONTINUE button next to this offering and then click the "See all " link on top of the icons, do you see more amenities than what you've listed above? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know and we'll take it from there.Thanks.Danventure,Please share the details of your win with the board (star rating, zone, hotel, room rate, dates, amenities shown before your purchase) as a NEW TOPIC... you can still view all of this information by going to HOTWIRE and clicking the MY ACCOUNT link near the top right of their home page. Although your stay has already passed, the information can still help others as they come across your win when searching the Priceline and Hotwire Calendar of Wins.Thanks. booshki Posted October 3, 2011 Author Report Posted October 3, 2011 Thanks guys for the quick responses, I really appreciate the the help!I went back to Hotwire and entered the search again from 11/03 to 11/07. I did 1 room, 2 adults and 0 children. My Hotwire bid result for Las Vegas Strip- North Area Hotel was now $184.00 per room, per night. The hotel being offered had the following changes when I opened the see all hotel amenities link. This hotel features the following amenities:CasinoFitness CenterPool(s)Restaurant(s)Business CenterHigh-Speed Internet AccessGolf NearbyTennis NearbySpa ServicesThe following hotel was also recommended in 95% of Hotwire customer reviews.Anyway, the results did seem to change somewhat from my original search. Then again I don't see too much of a change except for a $3.00 discount in price and Resort is no longer included in the amenities list. Hopefully, you'll find this new information useful in regard to helping me figure out the possible hotel match. If there are anymore questions I can answer to make this process easier please don't hesitate to ask, I am just grateful for any help I can get.
thereuare Posted October 3, 2011 Report Posted October 3, 2011 The bad news is that the amenities above match multiple properties, with the Palzzo, Venetian and Wynn all having been seen with this amenity set in the past, so any of these would be likely possibilities. The good news is that they're all excellent hotels (imo) and you can't really go wrong with any of them. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
