Ash Vincent Posted October 2, 2011 Report Posted October 2, 2011 Hey Guys,First time user of this site. Am travelling over from New Zealand to New Jersey April 13-17 2012 and have used HOTWIRE to search for a hotel during this period. There is a real good deal for $150 a night for a 4* hotel in Hoboken. I was just wondering if anyone could help me ID it? Hotel facilities | Suite, Smoke Free Rooms, Fitness Center, Restaurant(s), Business Center, High-Speed Internet Access90% recommended on hotwire4.0 out of 5.0 on trip advisor.Any help would be much appreciated.RegardsAsh
thereuare Posted October 3, 2011 Report Posted October 3, 2011 Welcome to BetterBidding! This is a match for the Sheraton Suites Lincoln Harbor (in Weehawken NJ) so that would be my best guess for this one. Are you using this as a "NYC Substitute" in that you'll be commuting to Manhattan each day? If so, this property is do-able, but there are better/nice/more convenient hotels in the area, imo. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know what you decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help. Ash Vincent Posted October 3, 2011 Author Report Posted October 3, 2011 Thanks so much for your reply. We would actually like to be in The Westin, The Hyatt Regency on the Hudson or the W Hoboken as opposed to this one. I am not sure how we can get those ones instead through HOTLINE?
AaronJB Posted October 4, 2011 Report Posted October 4, 2011 HOTWIRE only shows one listing at each star rating in each zone for each set of dates - unfortunately, it may not be the one hoped for. Inventory can change at any time, but there's no way to know if/when.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
thereuare Posted October 4, 2011 Report Posted October 4, 2011 Do you only need double occupancy? If so, you could bid on PRICELINE for a 4* hotel as the Sheraton Suites is in PRICELINE's Secaucus-North Bergen zone... you should therefore able to avoid it if you only bid on PRICELINE's "Jersey City" zone (which although not in the name, does also include the south half of Hoboken, which is where the W Hoboken is located)Is PRICELINE bidding an option? If so, what is your maximum bid for these dates? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
