SimonW Posted October 2, 2011 Report Posted October 2, 2011 Very surprised that my bid was accepted, It was my first bid attempt for nycshould have tried midtown west first but might probably not have the winning bidExpedia is showing around 290+taxesIts about a third of the 'market value'The stay is for 1 night only, on a Sunday. This is probably whyVery happyThank you Priceline
AaronJB Posted October 2, 2011 Report Posted October 2, 2011 Congrats on your success. :)Superb, superb result for this Grand Hyatt during one of the busiest times of the year.Thank you for sharing your win and please use the site's PRICELINE or HOTWIRE links to start your purchases and searches.Enjoy your stay.
itee Posted October 2, 2011 Report Posted October 2, 2011 Congratulation on your winning bid. I got the same priceline deal at Grand Hyatt for the night before at $160. I thought it was a good deal till I saw your post.
thereuare Posted October 2, 2011 Report Posted October 2, 2011 itee,Rates are date specific, and Sunday nite is typically the least expensive nite of the week for hotels in NYC. So while the rate above is a very nice deal, it has little to do with your stay for the (Saturday) nite before, since rates for this Sunday win are likely somewhat cheaper then rates for your own stay. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
