I increased in $2 increments for four days, bringing me to $44. From $46-50, I only bid for 3* hotels so that I could get it done today (needed to be able to add re-bid zones, but didn't want to get stuck in a 2.5* hotel 15 miles from my conference).I wish I could have gotten a 2.5* hotel in Central or Northwest for less than $45, but it just didn't happen. Nonetheless, I am very happy with where I ended up... it's a fantastic price for a great hotel, and has all the amenities I originally wanted out of a 2.5* hotel (i.e. free breakfast, parking, and refrigerator).I used this site's PRICELINE link for my many searches and bids.
