ephone65 Posted September 30, 2011 Report Posted September 30, 2011 I already booked 10/6/11 thru 10/8/11 at Anaheim Hilton for $71 per night. (see previous my winning priceline bid). Now I need to add 10/5/11, preferably at the same property. The problem is a well attended convention has the room prices very high on 10/5/11. Any ideas?
thereuare Posted September 30, 2011 Report Posted September 30, 2011 Have you first tried the extend your stay option if present on your winning bid confirmation page?If rates are substantially high it may be unlikely that you'll win a hotel at the same rate, but if a counter-offer is given (ie- "we can't offer the same hotel at $71, but we can at $xx) then that will at least give you an idea of what it might take and/or the option of accepting the counter-offer in order to ensure the same hotel... or if you're not able to extend it may indicate that there is no deeply discounted inventory available at this property for the additional nite.Let us know if you've tried to extend the stay and what the response was, we'll then take it from there. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. ephone65 Posted October 1, 2011 Author Report Posted October 1, 2011 I tried to extend the stay and was denied. There was no counter offer.
