Just scored one night at the Doubletree Hotel Atlanta North for $55. A good deal, of course, but they are being stingy in this area due to the Country Living Fair being held at Stone Mountain Park that weekend.

I started with the Northlake Area at $50 and was rejected. Added the North Druid Hills/Emory Area and bumped my bid to $55.

I will admit that I tried yesterday for 3.5* hotel in Northlake, North Druid Hills/Emory and Stone Mountain and gave up at $55. I didn't pursue a 3* yesterday because I added a couple of areas that I didn't want to be in that had 3* hotels. Totally blew my bidding strategy! :-)

I used the PRICELINE link to make my purchase.

In the future close the current browser, use our link to re-access PRICELINE, and resume your bidding... duplicate bid rules still apply, but doing so removes any zones which were previously selected so that you can start over with a clean slate and begin bidding for a 3* hotel without needing to wait 24 hours.
