delopez3 Posted September 27, 2011 Report Posted September 27, 2011 Hi!Have used this site before when I booked for Priceline and it was very helpful. We are now trying to go with Hotwire and in a bit of a pickle. We are looking to book for October 21-23 for 2 A and 1 C. The property I am looking at isRiverwalk North and Alamo Area3.5 Stars $74SPARestaurantPool Fitness CenterIt is recommended by 65% of reviews. What property do you think this could be?If I look for 2A only which is a possiblity if my child doesn't go with us we getRiverwalk North and Alamo area3.5 star $64Fitness centerRestaurantInternetBusiness centerRecommended by 70% hotwire reviewsI think this is St. Anthony, but do you think the first one could also be St. Anthony since this hotel does have a SPA.What hotels are your guesses for our two top contenders? I will be sure to post once I book. ThanksDee
thereuare Posted September 27, 2011 Report Posted September 27, 2011 When searching for 2a/1c i'm not seeing the property you reference above, the 3.5* property i'm seeing has:Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Smoke Free, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, LaundryThe Crowne Plaza has previously been seen with this amenity set but at the 4* level, it's possible that it has been downgradedThe 2a/0c property is a match for the Wyndham St. Anthony so that would be my best guess for this one, but as these amenities are common for any hotel, i wouldn't entirely rule out the Crowne Plaza or Hotel Valencia, should either of these have been downgraded from the previously reported 4* level (and after the research and guess above for the Crowne Plaza, i'd actually change my guess to say that this could be the Wyndham St Anthony or a downgraded Crowne Plaza (i'd give equal weight to the possibility of either... with the Hotel Valencia being a distant third possibility)Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know what you decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help.
