alwayswithyou99 Posted September 27, 2011 Report Posted September 27, 2011 My family is going to visit Chicago from Oct 2-6. And from my travel book I found 2 museums offers free admission days. But I checked the free museum day info on museum websites and it says "FREE general admission for Illinois residents only". It means ID/driver licence will be check on the gate? so visitors cannot get the free admission? Please advice. Thanks.
joyce411 Posted September 27, 2011 Report Posted September 27, 2011 The first weekend of each month is free museum day for Bank of America customers through their Museums on Us program. Visit their website http://museums.bankofamerica.com/
AaronJB Posted September 27, 2011 Report Posted September 27, 2011 I haven't managed to wind up at the museums on a free day in years, unfortunately, but I have heard from friends/family that they do card. Your results may vary, but expect that they may ask for some sort of proof.
