miasweet Posted September 25, 2011 Report Posted September 25, 2011 Thanks betterbidding! Finally lock the deal at 73% off, with all the fees it makes $98/night :) although I wished for a more "dupont circle" location. Anyway it's right upon a metro station so it'll be fine for us.Me and my parents plan to visit DC from 10/09 - 10/13, but so far we have no luck in booking the whole 4 days. I even tried $80 for a Alexandria 2* and got all rejected! So I decided to split the nights as weekend vs mid-week. First put $80 for 3.5* at conventional center->add dupont circle, and won the bid. My question is, how should I add nights? We're hoping to add 10/10-10/13 to the existing reservation and will it be the same price? Thanks for any help and tips!PS, sorry I've messed up a bit with the title. I'm new to the BB!
AaronJB Posted September 25, 2011 Report Posted September 25, 2011 Congrats on your success. :)Superb deal for this Marriott property! Hope you are looking forward to your stay.Under your reservation information, there should be an "add a night" link that will take you to an option to possibly add nights. The service may allow you to add at the same price, at a higher price or may not be able to let you add additional discounted nights via this feature.Unfortunately, with the "add a night" feature, you can only add as many as originally booked, which means that you can try to add one night via this feature. Additional nights will have to be bid for, which may mean you could get a different 3.5* property in this zone. Let us know your thoughts and then we would be happy to offer further suggestions.Thank you for sharing your win and please use the site's PRICELINE or HOTWIRE links to start your purchases and searches.Enjoy your stay.
