instableoxymoron Posted September 25, 2011 Report Posted September 25, 2011 After searching and bidding for two days (was trying to get a great deal on a 5* or a 4* for the north region and was unsuccessful. I am pleased with my result though. So, this is the first time I've used PL and BB. How do I know what room I have? Any other advice for a person who hasn't been to Vegas? Thanks,IO
AaronJB Posted September 25, 2011 Report Posted September 25, 2011 Congrats on your success and Welcome to Betterbidding. :)Very nice deal for this Vegas property! Hope you are looking forward to your stay.PRICELINE/HOTWIRE reservations are for regular/non-upgraded rooms. Requests can be made before your stay or at check-in, although the hotel could say no or charge more for upgrades.Thank you for sharing your win and please use the site's PRICELINE or HOTWIRE links to start your purchases and searches.Enjoy your stay.
instableoxymoron Posted September 26, 2011 Author Report Posted September 26, 2011 Any tips for getting deals on food? The only thing I have found so far is restaurunt.com although I have had issues with them in my local area. I have signed up for Vegas Groupon. We thought about possibly purchasing an Entertainment Coupon book for Vegas or I have seen a Bite Card for $20. I've also signed up for MB's guestbook as I've heard they will email you deals. Anyone know if ways to get other deals in Vegas? I don't want to save on the Hotel and then get fee'd to death.
thereuare Posted September 26, 2011 Report Posted September 26, 2011 You can double check, but not too long ago some of the in-house restaurants at Mandalay Bay are on Restaurant.com.Until Sept 30th you can use coupon code FALL for 80% off, which makes purchasing a voucher or two a fairly low risk. You can still eat cheap in Vegas, but with all the high-end restaurants and celebrity chefs, it's gotten harder to each well for cheap in Vegas.Enjoy your stay. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
