hcm Posted September 22, 2011 Report Share Posted September 22, 2011 In case this is of assistance to anyone trying to get hotels by BWI airport:This is for tomorrow night, sometimes harder to get a good deal one day away.Knew I could stay at Comfort Suites or La Quinta for $124,129 so was not going to bid that much for an unknown hotel for Priceline.Used PRICELINE link to start biddingBid $45 for 3.5*, rejectedadded re-bid zone, bid $55, rejectedadded re-bid zone, bid $65, rejectedadded re-bid zone, bid $75, rejectedadded re-bid zone, bid $85, rejectedadded re-bid zone, bid $95, rejectedThen lowered star to 3*, bid $55, rejectedadded re-bid zone, bid $65, rejectedadded re-bid zone, bid $75, rejectedadded re-bid zone, bid $85, rejectedThen lowered star to 2.5*, bid $65, rejectedadded re-bid zone, bid $75, rejectedadded re-bid zone, bid $85, rejectedAt this point I went back and bid $105 and $115 for the 3.5* since I had two re-bid zones left, rejected both times.So I decided to go with a purchase on the regular priceline retail site for the Comfort Suites 2* for $129, because I knew they have a free shuttle and will take you to the MARC station for free also.
