Priceline Hotel: 4* Las Vegas (Strip South) PH Towers

Thanks to this everyone on this board! I won the PH Towers for $85 a night from 10/10/11 to 10/14/11 by using the PRICELINE link. I'm taking the wife for her first time to Vegas as a birthday present. I'm sure the $85/night is only getting us the basic 1-Bed Studio, but I'm hoping to use the $20 method for an upgrade to a Strip-View room. Does anyone know if PH is receptive to this tactic?

Here's the method I used to get my pricing:

Bid $75 - 4* Strip South = Rejected (Priceline counter-offered for $95)

Bid $80 - 5*/4* Strip South, Boulder Strip = Rejected (5* was added automatically at this point)

Bid $85 - 5*/4* Strip South, Boulder Strip, Henderson = Accepted!

Note: I'd already tried every price from $70-$125 on just the 5* for those dates, but to no avail.

Superb result for this PH property. Hopefully they will be willing to negotiate at check-in (although you could also try to call in advance and politely ask; if not, then try again at check-in.)
