Richard Elgar Posted September 19, 2011 Report Posted September 19, 2011 I went through the PRICELINE link on your pages.Going for an overnight badminton tournament. Official price is $85 + tax = $96.I bid $45, got rejected, but they offered me the chance to re-bid at $55. I knew I had 'em, so I added North Spokane (only has 2* hotels), and went up to $48, and it was accepted at the hotel I wanted. The extra taxes added up to $14.47. It seems to me that taxes are higher going through Priceline! Anyone else had that experience? Still $34 cheaper so I'm not complaining that much.
