In reviewing most of the Hotwire"Won Bids" for El Conquistador they all seem to indicate Laundry. I want to score El Conquistador in Fajardo,PR but have doubts on whether its being offered through Hotwire. In anycase, one of the current listings a/o 10/14/11 being offered throught Hotwire list as:

Something tells me this could be Gran Melia but they change the ameneties around, I think to fool us they do some tweeking of amenites. I called El Conquistador and they say they don't offer laundry. Could the previous winnings that show laundry, just now mean that it use to be an amenity? Thanks!!!

It's possible that the hotel offered Laundry services at one time, OR that they incorrectly used the self-service laundry icon to represent dry cleaning services (a common mistake on the part of hotels) and have since corrected the situation by removing this icon, but there is no way to know for certain.

The El Conquistador seems like a likely candidate and reasonable guess, but there could easily be others.

Hi,

I took my chances today (10/17/11 appx 9:30am) on Hotwire by accepting their offer. I was hoping for El Conquistador in Fajardo,PR but ended up with Rio Mar Beach Resort & Spa - A Wyndham Grand Resort in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico. Thank you 'thereuare" for helping try to crack El Conquistador. I didn't get it this time, I will try another time. The reservation is for 12/12-12/13/11 for $82.00 the other fees shown are $27.83.
